I heard new book by Tim Knight, "chart your way to profits: the Analysis Guide online shopping, reading his blog (which by the way really rocks). And, boy, I'm glad I found this book. It was on Amazon lists my level, whichever is the wealth (ie $$$$) appeal.
I skimmed the book and found many interesting topics. As a student of Investools, ProphetCharts I have been using the new mapping software for about 3 months. I thought I knew how to use it. I find the software features that do not know the existence (I will not bore you with my lack of knowledge, get the book and see for yourself).
And I'm an idea of how a professional trader who uses charts. This is the real reason, I have the book. Tim Read blog every day, it includes a large number of letters, but little argument about "Why create the graph the way it did." Reading his book became a reference for tourists, helps me understand why he created the graph of the way he did, which also helps me create my graphics.
This is a must-have for any book Investools student, any student who ar willing to invest to begin to "play like grownups." This is a book easy to read, full of examples and ideas. There is even a little humor, which makes the concepts easy to remember. I'll read an hour each night, but not before bed (which remain for me and makes me want to go to the computer and try some of the graphic techniques of some of my current activities).

(From page 141)
"When prices by cutting the trend line, however, usually must be taken into account. To illustrate this point, imagine driving a car on a deserted road. Since you want to understand the concept of trend lines and decided not to watch the road ahead, but just open the door and keep an eye on the midline. You have no idea how the road will twist or turn, or if you go straight … For a time, the geniuses behind the yellow line in more or less the same place. Sometimes they move a bit away from the car, but soon returned to the periphery of the driver's door. Suddenly it moves below the midline of your car, out of sight. You'd better look quickly to see what happens, because the road will turn! "
This type of writing is Zippy and delicious that you'll read if you buy this book. I know if I'm in this car, I want Tim in the passenger seat provides useful advice on the benefits and potential dangers ahead. It is the first to say that technical analysis is not a be all end all and provide appropriate prevention advice. The book has a tone of pleasant conversation, which de-baffled technical analysis.
I am not a professional, I am not an expert in technical analysis. But I am an investor who wants a useful tool in my arsenal. Technical analysis is one such tool. Beginners will find this book accessible style of writing and direct involvement of Tim. If you are a user of Prophet. net (I am not), you will find many tips on the use of this service. For users may overlook these short sections and immediately immersed in the meat and potatoes with gravy.

I am one of the asset sales in the retail sector and I found this book almost by accident. It is very well written and with many current examples of chart patterns more frequent and reliable. I have no relationship with the author or company, but I have a detailed account Thinkorswim and find maps great prophet, even as leading operator.
The book should be required reading for anyone who uses charts Prophet, the book lists a bunch of suggested settings are only relevant when using the product. Specifics aside, it is still an excellent book and much easier to read than most others out there, the application can be very dry, but important for the study, this book is highly recommended for early operator and technical intermediaries.
Good stuff.
