This review is from: What Works in Online Day Trading (Paperback) I have read many books "commercial" and found this pleasant surprise. Section II contains a good source of trading strategies that work, each written by people who actually trade. Strategies covered include: 1) the pure price action by Gary Smith, 2) Mark Seleznov homes, 3) seasonals by Steve Moore, et al. al. , 4) patterns Mark Etzkorn, 4) springs and shocks Hank Pruden, 5) modes of Bow Tie by Dave Landry, and others. The strategies are a good summary of these parameters, entries, stops and exits. These summaries are general enought that can be programmed in any backtest software used not only TradeStation or C + +. Using backtest with TC2000 and TC Companion. The book also has good information on the risks Mangement, negotiating mechanisms and the mindset of different negotiating styles. The good thing about this book is that it is a well-integrated collection of tools and techniques of a variety of well known and / or highly successful traders. The editor has done a wonderful job taking this heterogeneous group and the integration of structure in a stream very logical and useful. Although it may be too pure for beginners, this book will be greatly appreciated by the operator through to advanced.

This review is from: What Works in Online Day Trading (Paperback) This book is eclectic. It focuses on an important issue and is a collection of different perspectives of people, most of the author. I do not recommend this book for beginners who want to learn the basics, because I feel the foundation is complete. It is a good book for those who want to see how other companies, its different techniques and views on trade. Also of value are the techniques of risk management. A more appropriate title would be: Different techniques of various economic sectors and advice.
